Here is a quick Q&A for the most common questions regarding to use our virtual numbers.
To make phone calls, you need one of our virtual numbers.
Please note that you need a virtual number that can be used for calls, as we offer different options for numbers.
When you decided on a number and added it to your account, you are ready to go. Open your virtual phone, choose the virtual number you want to use, enter the recipient (and please do not forget to choose the right country) and you are ready to make a call! As soon as you click ‚Call‘, the call will be established: a small window will pop up and you are able to hang up the phone or add different features.
To receive calls, you need one of our virtual numbers which is also activated for phone calls. You can use the number right after purchasing it with our credits. You will receive a notificiation immediately when someone tries to call you.
You can make conference calls and add several numbers to your call directly in your virtual phone. Depending on your level, you can add a certain amount of numbers to your phone call.
Virtual numbers with the Call Feature:
You can find our call forwarding feature in the category ‚Manage numbers‘. Select a virtual number from your list to activate the call forwarding.
To do so, click the ‚edit‘ button next to the chosen virtual number.
You should see all features available to you now. Simply activate the call forwarding, enter the number you want to use as your forwarding number and you are all set.
You can find the call recording feature in the category ‚Manage numbers‘. Select the virtual number from your list to activate the call recording.
To do so, click the ‚edit‘ button next to the chosen virtual number.
You should see all features available to you now. Activate the auto recording – you can now decide which calls should be recorded: incoming, outgoing or conference calls.
You can find our mailbox feature in the category ‚Manage numbers‘. Select the virtual number from your list to activate the mailbox.
To do so, click the ‚edit‘ button next to the chosen virtual number.
You should see all features available to you now. Activate the mailbox feature. This features comes with a virtual voice that will play the customized text you enter beforehand.
With our text-to-speech feature, you are able to enter a customized text that will be spoken and played when you make a phone call and the call is connected.
To use this feature, please go to ‚Manage numbers‘ and select the virtual number you want to use the feature for.
To do so, click the ‚edit‘ button next to the chosen virtual number.
You should see all features available to you now. Activate the text-to-speech feature and select the settings that work best for you. The text you enter will be played when the call is connected. This feature is available for both inbound and outbound phone calls.
SMS are sent in the virtual phone. In our virtual phone, you can not only send text-messages, but also make phone calls. But before you can start typing your text-message, you need one of our virtual numbers that is SMS enabled. After you chose your number and added it to your account, you are ready to start. Open your virtual phone and select the virtual number you want to use in the SMS section of the phone. You can now enter your recipient’s number and the message.
You van view your sent and received text-messages directy in your account in the category ‚Messages‘. You can look up your texts by conversation or virtual number.
Do not worry! Your messages are saved without an expiration date.
Virtual numbers with the SMS Feature:
Yes, you can also use virtual numbers for verification purposes of third party companies such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Google and Co. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee a successful verification. We are always working on improving our services and try our best to make it happen. If you should not receive your verification text, please contact the third party provider directly.
Fax are sent in your virtual phone. To be able to send fax, you need to add a virtual number to your account that is Fax enabled. After you chose your number and added it to your account, you are ready to start.
Open your virtual phone and select the virtual number you want to use in the Fax section of the phone. You can now enter your recipient’s number and the message you want to send. Or if you want to send documents, simply drag and drop the document in your virtual phone.
Please note that you can only send PDF, JPG or PNG documents.You can find all sent and received fax documents in your account in the category Fax
With a Fax virtual number, you are able to activate the Fax to Email features. Enter a email address of your choice and redirect all incoming fax to this particular email.
To use this feature, please go to ‚Manage numbers‘ and select the virtual number you want to use the feature for.
To do so, click the ‚edit‘ button next to the chosen virtual number. You shouldsee all featuresavailable to you now. Activate the Fax to Email feature and enter an email address. This will be the email address all incoming fax will be redirected to.
